Apple Butter Pancakes
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup Belfonte milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp Apple butter
For Toppings
- Pure Maple Syrup
- Apple Butter
- Nuts optional
Directions
- In large bowl add your flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. Whisk until combined.
- Add your Belfonte Milk, egg, vanilla, and olive oil and mix again until pancake batter forms.
- Swirl in a few tablespoons of apple butter, not mixing it fully into the batter.
- On a pan on medium heat coated in olive oil or butter, add about a ¼ cup of batter and flip when butter start to form. Let cook on each side.
- Continue with rest of your batter.
- Once your pancakes are done, serve with pure maple syrup, apple butter and any other toppings you’d like.
